An employment and entrepreneurship training class tailored for Taiwan people below age 45 commenced at Pingtan Innovation Park on Oct 28.

A total of 120 Taiwan youth, including 57 new college graduates and 12 teachers, took part in the class.

The training course themed "Mainland E-commerce Practice" featured a series of lectures delivered by distinguished experts, seminars and field trips. The trainees were educated over five days in cross-border e-commerce practices and Pingtan’s relevant polices regarding tax, employment and talent introduction.

The training, jointly sponsored by Taiwan Innovation Park, China Strait Talent Market and Fujian Cross-strait Jinqiao Human Resource Co., aims to encourage Taiwan youth to obtain work or start their businesses in Pingtan, and to further improve the cooperation and communication between the mainland and Taiwan.
