From 5 to 10 November, 2015, Ren Jianguo, Vice President of CGGC inspected the Project of President Nestor Kirchner and Governor Jorge Cepernic Hydropower Station on the Santa Cruz River in Argentina.
During his visit to the office of Project Management Department in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ren was briefed about the key issues of the project, especially the purchase procedures and process, financial capital management, tax plan and contract text in the implementation process.
Ren Jianguo instructed the Project Department to strictly adhere to the 16 management bans, learn from the management system and methods and refine its own set according to the principle of "One Country, One Policy; One Point, One Policy" so as to improve work efficiency and solve problems and difficulties during implementation. Meanwhile, the Department should carefully study the new mode of joint venture and abide by administrative regulations of CGGC under the principle of avoiding loss of state assets and preserving CGGC's interests.
Furthermore, Ren Jianguo also went to the headquarter of Argentine Yilin Company, CGGC's partner for the Project. Both parties looked into the influence of the presidential election of Argentina on this Project including the overall impact, the EIA approval, site progress and cooperation between both parties of the joint venture. They also exchanged opinions on the next actions.
