On April 14th, Chen Xiaohua, Vice President of CGGC and Chairman of CGGC International, paid a visit to President Yoweri Museveni at Presidential Palace of Uganda.
Chairman Chen Xiaohua and President Museveni looked back to their meeting at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing last March. Then, Chen Xiaohua introduced in detail CGGC's latest achievements gained in areas such as investment, financing and infrastructure construction. Particularly, he emphasizes on CGGC's initiative behavior to carry forward fruits of Johannesburg Summit of Sino-African Forum by exemplifying the fulfillment of accelerating a series of significant infrastructure projects. Mr. Chen, again, expressed his gratitude to President Museveni for the fact that he invited CGGC to thoroughly participate in the infrastructure construction of Uganda.
President Museveni was very grateful that Chairman Chen took his time out from the busy schedule for the special trip to Uganda. In addition to his highly speaking of CGGC's cooperation concept as honesty, fairness and win-win, the President gave a strong affirmation to CGGC for its serious attention to engineering quality, credibility, contract performance and its success undertaking of a number of large hydropower projects all over the world. Both sides reached an intensive consensus to positively put into practice the important cooperation related to China and Uganda from Johannesburg Summit of Sino-African Forum. President Museveni was longing for excellent Chinese enterprises in possession of quality brand and accomplishments, such as CGGC, to conduct earlier all-around cooperation with Uganda so as to make efforts to the economic development of Uganda.
It was a fruitful and amicable conference. Zhao Yali, Chinese Ambassador to Uganda was fully present in the meeting. Relevant department heads of CGGC International and principal persons of CGGC Uganda Office attended the above event.
