Flowers bloom in Nanyang as spring arrives

As the temperature rises in early spring, flowers in Nanyang are beginning to blossom, turning it into a "city of flowers". Huge numbers of people are flocking to Nanyang to admire the city's stunning scenery.

Here are some of the city's best spots for flower-viewing:

Nanyang Rose Garden: this garden features the city's most delicate roses and people can enjoy their fresh fragrance while strolling among the garden's sea of flowers.

Cherry Valley: located in Nanyang, this valley is known for its cherry blossoms swaying amid the gentle spring breeze, which almost seem like waving clouds when seen from a distance.

Longxiang Road: patches of rape flowers can be seen along Longxiang Road in the northern part of the city, adorning surrounding villages with an eye-catching gold color.

Meicheng Park: this park attracts large numbers of people for its 2,000 prune tress of over 20 varieties, full of bright colors and a pleasant aroma.

Mountain villages: in March, Nanzhao's mountains are covered by white and purple magnolia flowers, and visitors can appreciate the 500-year-old flower clusters in villages throughout Nanzhao.
