The Ruzhou Department of Geology and Mineral Industries is making great efforts to develop mine vegetation restoration.

The department has set up a leading panel to identify the responsibilities of each institution, organization and individual.

According to the department, the scope of vegetation restoration should cover important natural reserves, scenic areas, residential areas, vital transportation lines, and viewable areas around rivers and lakes.

The Ruzhou Department of Geology and Mineral Industries also organized qualified technological institutes to carry out investigations regarding the geological environment of mines for the scope of vegetation restoration.

The department has created a plan to further identify specific tasks, targets, processes, liabilities, and financing channels. The efforts have clarified responsibilities and have created a more targeted and actionable plan.
