The eastern branch of Bank of China Services Company Ltd. came into operation at a temporary office building of the greenbelt headquarters in Huaqiao International Service Business Park on June 18, consolidating Huaqiao's position as a financial Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) base.

The company aims to build a service base, covering call center and direct marketing, with the expansion of its registered capital from current RMB 50 million to RMB 1 billion in five years.

Zhang Guohua, Secretary of Kunshan Municipal Party Committee, and Ren Xueyuan, Kunshan People's Political Consultative Committee attended the opening ceremony and made speeches.

Zhang accredited Huaqiao as a city of hope, with its accommodation of more than 100 outsourcing programs up to now, worth over RMB 40 billion. He pointed out that the Bank of China Services Company Ltd. would have a speedy, steady, and healthy development with Huaqiao’s advanced technologies, standard management and effective professional services.

The Bank of China Services Company Ltd. was registered in December 2007 in Beijing, under the approval of the state industry and commerce administration authority. It is a joint venture between the head office of Bank of China and Hong Kong BOC Credit Card (International) Limited. This company will supply financial institutions, from China and other parts of the world, with high-quality professional non-financial outsourcing services, and provide a third-party professional service with its own unique features.
