Ren Xueyuan, member of the standing committee of Kunshan municipal government and director of the managing committee of Huaqiao economic development zone, held a thematic session to plan the groundbreaking of a Cross-Straits Trade Cooperation center on Monday.

The Kunshan People’s Government and Taiwan External Trade Development Council were asked to conduct the groundbreakingceremony, about and its time, location, agenda, travel routes and guests to be invited were all discussed. The specific tasks, duties and deadlines for the preparations of the breaking ground ceremony were also arranged and assigned to relevant departments.

Shen Huafei, Zhang Jianxin, Tang Naixin, Cheng Wenrong, deputy directors of the managing committee of Huaqiao economic development zone, attended the session together with other officials from the development and reform government, the planning bureau, the customs, the industrial and commercial department, and Taiwan External Trade Development Council.

The Cross-Straits trade Tooperation Center will help accelerate the aggregation of modern service industries in Huaqiao International Service Business Park. Its establishment will enhance the scope of business across the Straits and help Taiwanese enterprises in the mainland transform from manufacturers to service providers.
