Taiwan Investment Investigation Group and Huaqiao Economic Development Zone discussed the potential for cooperation in aspects of financing, medicine and catering.

“As a hub for Taiwan businessmen in the mainland, Jiangsu province’s Kunshan built cross-Straits (Kunshan) commerce and trade cooperation zone to provide the first platform for Taiwan commodities in the mainland in a bid to deepen the cross-Straits friendship and economic linkage,” said Ren Xeuyuan, director of the managing committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone.

Taiwan Investment Investigation Group, made up of ten people, paid a visit to Huaqiao International Service Business Park on Nov 19 inquiring into cooperation and investment opportunities.

Ren also introduced the industrial position and current constructions in Huaqiao International Service Business Park.

The investigation group was impressed with Huaqiao’s high-standard layout, perfect basic infrastructure and graceful environment.
