The service outsourcing talent training center in Huaqiao Economic Development Zone was rewarded a specific subsidy of 1.8 million yuan by the Jiangsu municipal government for the development of the modern service industry.

So far, subsidies received by Huaqiao Economic Development Zone have amounted to 16.93 million yuan to support the development of the local modern service industry.

Huaqiao Economic Development Zone has also applied for a specific subsidy for the provincial service aggregation program in a bid to quicken the construction of basic infrastructure and develop the Zone into a first-class satellite town for a modern metropolis.

As the biggest manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta Region, the city of Kunshan built the Huaqiao International Service Business Park in Huaqiao near Shanghai as its main area in the construction of the “Financial Silicon Valley”. It is noted for having “the geographical advantage of the Shanghai region, the policy advantage of Jiangsu province, and the advantage of Kunshan’s low costs”.
