In the Opto-electronic Industry Park of Kunshan Development Zone, the launch of 105 major industrial projects was met with fanfare and colorful balloons.

Construction on the projects started simultaneously, ushering in a new wave of investment, construction and development in Kunshan. The projects will lead the way for more in the future.

These key projects in the leading industries, emerging industries and service industries of Kunshan involve a combined total investment of 60.8 billion yuan, 21.8 billion yuan of which will be used this year.

The projects will effectively promote the development of Kunshan’s high-end leading industries, emerging industries and large-scale service industries. They will also accelerate economic transformation and upgrading, and significantly boost the city’s industrial competitiveness.

At the commencement ceremony, project representatives and delegates from stakeholder companies all expressed confidence in investing, and they vowed to speed up project construction, start production and business as early as possible, and make a contribution to the next round of development in Kunshan.

Also present at the ceremony were representatives from Fuji Machine MFG. Co Ltd, Suzhou Geesun Automation Technology Co Ltd, Taiwan Commodity Transaction Center Development Co Ltd and Kunshan Zhongpin Cold Chain Logistics Co Ltd.
