The department of human resources in Huaqiao organized a special recruitment event in the cities of Changsha and Xiangtan of Hunan province in Central China from April 8 to 12.

Companies including Genpact, a business process management company; Camelot, an IT-related services provider; Ocean Data BPO; and JiangSu Start Dima Data Processing Co took part in the event, collecting more than 260 resumes.

Based on cooperation experiences with colleges in Changsha of Hunan province last year, Huaqiao International Business Service Park has built up a strategic cooperation with three other universities including Xiangtan University, Hunan University of Science and Technology, and Hunan Institute of Engineering this year.

In addition, Huaqiao also had deep dialogues with Hunan University of Science and Technology and Changsha University of Science and Technology and reached an agreement for long-term talent recruiting strategic cooperation.

All of these universities have shown strong interest in Huaqiao International Business Park, hoping to integrate the university system with Huaqiao’s activities of software competition and campus interaction.

The recruitment trip to Hunan province was very fruitful, building up the initial phase of a talent supply chain covering provinces such as Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan and Guangxi.

Seven universities have signed a talent strategic cooperation framework with Huaqiao, including Changsha University of Science and Technology, Hunan Normal University, Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan Business College, Xiangtan University, Hunan University of Science and Technology, and the Hunan Institute of Engineering.
