On May 7, the delegations of Nigerian Federal Ministry of Transport headed by Minister Mr Yusuf Suleiman paid a visit to the Beijing headquarter of CGGC. They were given a warm reception by Nie Kai, the deputy general manager of CGGC and general manager of CGGC International Company Ltd. Both parties expressed the willingness to deepen cooperation so as to push forward the construction of all the projects in Nigerian successfully.

Nie Kai introduced the development history of CGGC and the overseas projects of CGGC to Yusuf Suleiman in the conversation. Nie Kai said that with a great deal of experience in overseas projects and strong financing capability, CGGC participated a lot in the construction of Nigerian infrastructure projects. At present, the projects contracted by CGGC were all in progress orderly. Speaking of the financing and construction of Nigerian railways, Nie Kai said that CGGC would continue to keep good communication with Nigerian ministry of transport and actively took part in the planning and construction of nationwide railway projects. CGGC would give full play to its advantages on technology, quality and financing capability to boost the infrastructure construction and finish more high-quality projects.

Yusuf Suleiman extended appreciation to the efforts CGGC made in boosting Nigerian infrastructure construction. He said that Nigerian Federal Ministry of Transport and CGGC had a good cooperation foundation; the successful implementation of joint projects set a good example to the cooperation between Ministry of Transport and large contractors all around the world. The Nigerian Ministry of Transport would continue to keep extensive cooperation with CGGC.
