Hailemariam welcomes CGGC to participate in the infrastructure more extensively in Ethiopia

On June 13, Chen Xiaohua, general manager of CGGC International, made an official visit to Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam on behalf of CGGC at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.

Chen Xiaohua introduced the business conditions of CGGC in Ethiopia, and expressed his sincere thanks to the Ethiopian government for its long-term support to CGGC, and expressed the intention for cooperation on electric power infrastructure in Ethiopia.

Chen Xiaohua said, as a super-large infrastructure constructor, CGGC is willing to, with the support of the Ethiopian government, further participate in the infrastructure construction in Ethiopia, create more jobs for local people and foster more technicians, so as to make greater contributions to social and economic development of the country.

Hailemariam highly praised the contributions that CGGC made to the social and economic development of Ethiopia. He fully recognized the outstanding contractual capacity of CGGC on the construction of the projects in Ethiopia, and thanked CGGC for the company’s active implementation of its corporate social responsibilities and the selfless contribution made to the public welfare of the country. He welcomed CGGC to participate in the infrastructure construction in Ethiopia more extensively and deeply so as to bring benefits to the Ethiopian.

The projects of CGGC that remain under construction in Ethiopia include FAN Hydropower Station, GD3 Hydropower Station, Shire Highway, Shire-Adi Abun Highway and WA Highway, etc.
