In the Dunhuang 20MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project with a design installed capacity of 20MW, a horizontal single-axis tracking system is adopted; 43780 pieces of poly-silicon solar cell units with a peak power of 230W are installed; an inverter and booster system is built as supporting facilities.

With a designed annual generating capacity of 33.41 million KWH, it is the first large-scale grid-connected photovoltaic power generation demonstration project in China.
