Xingsha Ecological Park to open before Spring Festival

Set to be the largest public park in Changsha, Xingsha Ecological Park will open just in time for the coming Spring Festival.
The 104-hectare park is located in south Changsha county with Teli Road to the north and Kaiyuan Road to the west.
The first and second phases of construction finished in August 2016, providing locals with a new area to relax, do physical exercise, and be around nature.

The third phase, which completes soon, features special areas for taking wedding photographs, such as the Xingyue Garden, Cupid Garden, and Bible Garden.
"I would like to take my wedding photos at this wonderful place," said a local, Zeng Qian, who will get married next year.

"The Bible Garden is currently under construction and we are going to plant more trees and buildings for it," said a worker at the park
The 3,000-meters of pathways for the third phase of the park are paved with permeable construction materials to absorb water. Additionally, the parking lot can accommodate 150 cars.

In recent years, the local government has sought to revive the region's long tradition in porcelain making and boost local industry with the cultural influence of ancient Tongguan kilns, which have a history of 1,200 years.
