Stunning Qiangu Masong on show

Qiangu Masong (An Ode to Thousands of Years of Horse Culture), a big show featuring horse culture, made its debut in Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia, on Sept 10. The stunning show is China's first comprehensive panoramic themed on horse culture and has attracted nearly 40,000 audience members.

The show is divided into six chapters to describe the diversified relationships between the Mongolian ethnic group, which is hailed as horseback people, and the horses that developed through thousands of years.

Mu Qing, executive director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, is the show's director. A total of nearly 200 actors and over 100 horses performed in this show. The Inner Mongolia Ethnic Arts Theatre has dedicated more than five months to present the audience with magnificent imagery, poets, dances and songs.
The core idea of grassland culture advocating nature, opening-up and honesty was displayed in this spectacular show.
