For the Lantern Festival, on the 15th of the first lunar month and which falls on Feb 22 this year, the residents of the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, young and old, came out on the evening before to Dazhao Square and old Saishang Street and Guanyin Temple to enjoy the huge display of lanterns.

High-speed train debuts in Inner Mongolia
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
