The are two famous ways to see Zhouzhuang, commonly known as "Fortune Ways". One is the "Fortune Way on Water" and the other is the "Wansan Fortune Way" located at Shen's Hall (Shen Wansan was a rich merchant in ancient China).

Sitting on a boat and traveling on Zhouzhuang's waterways, one can see beautiful scenery and scenic spots with unique features. The "Fortune Way on Water" is a combination of natural beauty and Shen Wansan's external trade water route. The route starts from the ancient drama stage and ends at Shen Wansan's former residence. The whole route includes cultural elements such as water and countryside. Sitting on a boat, listening to the historical stories of the old boatman and enjoying the beautiful view along with a cup of tea, one can completely relax and escape from the outside world.

Shen's Hall is a scenic spot that all tourists must visit. The "Wansan Fortune Way" integrates Wansan culture into the route. Traveling along "Wansan Fortune Way", people can see Shen Wansan's cornucopia hanging on the wall, blessing them with wealth and prosperity. There is a small Wansan ship that represents the ship that Shen Wansan took when he went out to do business. The ship symbolizes carrying wealth and fortune back home. Many chains and locks also hang on the wall, symbolizing locking up one's fortune in case it slips away.

Visitors can buy these kinds of souvenirs in the gift shop and bring them back home for friends and family. There will be more activities in Zhouzhuang in 2013.
