The Branded Import-Export Product Trade Fair Kunshan 2013 will open at the Kunshan International Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 15. The Kunshan tourism administration has adopted various measures to prepare for this fair.

First, excel in tourist reception. The administration started preparation work as soon as possible, including checking, selecting and booking hotels and travel agencies. The administration has tried to encourage more travel agencies and hotels to get involved in this activity.

Second, magnify the effect of tourism. Two local travel lines, Watertown Travel and Kunshan Industrial Travel, and two nearby short-distance lines, Suzhou Sightseeing and Taihu Lake Trip, have been launched to stimulate the tourism market.

Third, improve travel service quality. Tourist service points will be set in the exhibition area to provide services including bilingual advice, ticket booking and ticket confirmation. Four bus lines for one-day tours of Kunshan will be opened in the exhibition site. The Kunshan tourism administration, along with the department of health, police and fire, will carry out a joint inspection into 14 host hotels.

Fourth, further refine tourism propaganda. The Kunshan tourism administration will organize propaganda around the exhibition sites in Zhouzhuang, Qiandeng and Jinxi to attract tourists.
