Tour highlights: Three Kingdom City, Xihui Garden, Taihu Lake Pearl Base
China has long written history of five thousand years, you may not know all of it, but you must heard about Three Kingdoms period (AD 220-280), and may also have watched some Chinese movie like Red Cliff which tells stories in about 1,800 years ago, known as Age of Heroes.
In Wuxi, there is a Three Kingdom City, where it is CCTV base as well as a tourist attraction. You can see the Han Style buildings and palace, the Arms’ Camp on the land, Performing Court for Big Fire at Red Cliffs, etc.
But our Wuxi Tour can not be worthwhile without visiting Xihui Garden, the garden is located to the north of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and south to Huishan Mountain. It is a great historical and cultural heritage site in Yangtze River Delta.
In the Garden, there are Xishan Hill and Huishan Hill face to each other, woods about the water, spring runs, ancient epigraphy and calligraphy here and there.
After the two famous sight spots, we will visit the Pearl Manufacture Base. Wuxi is very famous for its Taihu Lake freshwater pearl. In the Pearl Base, you will see how pearls are created here and made into elegant accessories.
