Bench worker enjoys dinner with colleagues

Lei Hongguang, a 50-year-old bench worker, has been working on bridge construction projects for 30 years.

As a founding member of the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge construction team, his work mainly involves mechanical operation and maintenance.

Lei said his work hours run from early-morning to late-night, but he takes pride in his job.

Though unable to reunite with his family, Lei enjoyed celebrating with his colleagues by having a delicious dinner on Chinese New Year's Eve, guessing lantern riddles, and watching the Spring Festival gala.

"The festive air filled our team," Lei said.
