Longhu Mountain strives for a national 5A scenic spot rating

Longhu Mountain (Dragon and Tiger Mountain) has been making utmost efforts to build itself as a national 5A rating scenic spot by optimizing and integrating tourism resources, accelerating infrastructure construction and increasing software and hardware facilities.

Since 2011, the Longhu Mountain scenic spot administration has made investments of over 100 million yuan ($15.9 million) to boost the Luxi River night tour project. They provide tourists with recreational activities like cormorant catching fish, outdoor camp and beach volleyball. A 3,180- meter-long tourism path along the cliff has been open to tourists, connecting several new sceneries. Various water, land and air landscapes meet the diversified requirements of tourists.

The scenic spot also increases its management and services by making greater efforts in digital construction. The electronic audio guide system, sightseeing bus position system and monitoring system of the new tourism paths will be put into use.

More training will be given to the over 1,000 working staff in the tourism industry to standardize services in various aspects such as strengthening professional ethics and promoting service etiquettes.
