Exhibition Hall of Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang's mausoleum

The Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang's mausoleum is an AAA scenic zone in the Qian Gorlos Mongol autonomous county near the city of Songyuan, Jilin province. It was built in 1988 as the Changshan Bright Pearl Park on a 2.2-square-kilometers piece of land, 1.4 square kilometers of which are covered with water. The mausoleum scenic zone was given AA tourist attraction status, on May 10, 2004, then the AAA designation, on Sept 21, 2009 and contains an Ancestors Mausoleum Exhibition Hall, the Pearl Park, and Lakeside Park.

The exhibition hall was built in September 2003 at a cost of more than 2.4 million yuan, on a 2,500-square–meter space. It is in a traditional quadrangular style, with three exhibit rooms and an additional room linked by a cloister. The main room holds articles related to Empress Xiaozhuang, while the west room holds items related to the hall's construction. The east room holds items related to the legend of the mausoleum and local folk customs. Outside the hall there is a recently-excavated stone used for tying horses up that is 360 years old.

The hall itself holds a stone tablet for Prince Zhong and his wife with Manchu and Mongolian script, a key provincial relic. This tablet stood at the prince's mausoleum when the Emperor Shunzhi? conferred titles of nobility on Jaisang, his grandfather-in-law, and Borli, his grandmother-in-law. It has a great deal of archaeological significance and is the focus of the exhibition hall, since it tells the life of the legendary Empress Xiaozhuangwen. There are a scenic garden area, entertainment area, playground, and fishing area.
