A young lady who demonstrated difficult yoga moves, such as headstands and splits, on a chilly winter day in temperatures of minus 30 degrees centigrade along the Songhua River, caught passengers’ attention in Jilin city, Northeast China’s Jilin province on Dec 17.

The lady, Xie Xiaoming, 26 years old, has learned yoga for six years and owns a yoga training studio.

She felt an impulse to challenge herself by demonstrating her favorite hobby – yoga, in such beautiful rime scenery. And she asked her friend to take photos as mementos.

"In my studio, there are about 70 students, ranging from teenagers to grannies. They love it, and their attitude toward daily practice touched me so much, which makes me want to challenge myself on chilly days and feel the obligation to promote the sport as a lifetime career," Xie said.
