Zhang Jialiang: Incorporate environmental protection indicators into official assessment system

Zhang Jialiang, member of the Jilin provincial CPPCC and member of the Jiu San Society, said the quality of air is a big environmental issue concerning people’s livelihood, and the government should bear the primary responsibility.
Zhang proposed that indicators such as carbon emissions and the quality of air should be incorporated into assessment systems for officials.
