Hosted by the Liaoning Tourist Association, the result of the poll to decide the “50 most favored tourist resorts in Liaoning” was announced recently.Top 50 Tourist Resorts in Liaoning Province are as follows:

1 Shenyang Imperial Palace

Shenyang Imperial Place, one of the two existing ancient palaces in China, is located in No.171 Shenyang Street. First built in 1625, the Palace was once used by the first two Emperors of the Qing dynasty.

2 Zhaoling Tombs in Shenyang

Zhaoling Tomb is located in Beiling Park, in the northern part of Shenyang city. It is commonly called Beiling Tomb. Built in 1651, Zhaoling Tomb is the resting place of Emperor Huangtaiji and Queen Boerjijiteshi, the second Emperor of the Qing dynasty. 　

3 Fuling Tomb in Shenyang

Fuling Tomb is located in Dongling Park, the eastern suburb of Shenyang city. Fuling is commonly called Dongling Tomb. Built in 1651, it’s the tomb of Qing dynasty’s first Emperor, Nuerhaci and Queen Yehenalashi.

4 Marshal Zhang's Mansion in Shenyang

Located on Chaoyang Street, Shenhe District, Marshal Zhang's Mansion was the mansion of Zhang Tso-lin, who was once a leader of a unit of the Manchurian militia, and his son Zhang Xueliang.

5 Checkerboard Mesa Scenic Resort in Shenyang

It’s famous for its lush flora in the spring, scenery in the summer, maple trees in autumn and snow in the winter. The World Women’s Chess Contest was once held here.

6 Shenyang Botanical Gardens The main purpose of the Botanical Gardens is to collect and display the plant resources of the following areas: the Northeast, the Northwest, Inner Mongolia, etc. Now in the Botanical Gardens there are more than 20 gardens, each for a particular type of plant, and it holds various kinds of flower exhibitions from May to October every year. In the Botanical Gardens, there are more than 50 chain bridges, each with its own characteristics. In addition, the gardens offer rock-climbing and a children’s playground.

7 Magic Slope in Shenyang

Shenyang Magic Slope is located in Qingshuitai town of Xinchengzi district, a distance of 30 kilometers from the center of Shenyang city. The Magic Slope is more than 1 hundred meters long. An automobile may move up the slope without accelerating, and yet the driver must accelerate to go down the slope, and the same is true for bicycles. Therefore, it called the “Magic Slope”.

8 Liaoning Broadcast and TV Tower

With a height of 305.5 meters, the Liaoning Broadcast and TV Tower is a multifunctional tower with broadcasting, sightseeing, and catering services. It is the highest building in Northeastern China.

9 Xiagong Water World in Shenyang

Located in the south of Shenyang, Xiagong Water World occupies 23800 square meters with its unique design and impressive appearance. It’s a big modern indoor entertainment world combining swimming, catering and recreation services.

10 Pebble Beach National Resort in Dalian

Located in the east of Dalian, Pebble Beach National Resort was built in 1992. 46.2% of the area is covered with green trees and grass and it was once appraised as one of the 15 healthy bathing areas in China.
