Since the video and teleconference on provincial emergent flood control and flood fight on August 2, cities of Fushun, Anshan, Tieling and Fuxin in Liaoning province have been making preparations for torrential rains.

The preparations aim to control and fight flood, including the maintenance of reservoirs and the prevention of farmland drainage. It must be ensured that no death happens and reservoirs will not be destroyed. In addition, government at all levels and related departments must be prepared for flood emergencies.
