Dandong officials and Harman's leaders visiting the newly completed manufacturing base on Nov 11.

On Nov 11, the manufacturing base of Harman (China Dandong) Technology Co Ltd was completed and put into production.

The project is the Harman Group's largest investment in Asia, and is also the largest industrial manufacturing project invested in by an American enterprise since the foundation of the Dandong municipal government. The project was completed within less than 11 months, setting a record in Dandong in terms of major project construction speed.

The project has filled a vacancy in high-end automotive instruments in the Dandong Instrumentation Industrial Base. It will also promote the development of other supporting industries in Dandong, including electronic information, logistics and wood products processing.

Shangguan Weixing, deputy secretary general of the Liaoning provincial government announced the official completion and production of Harman (China Dandong) Technology Co Ltd. Jin Dingyi, president of the Harman Northeast Asia and Great China Region, and Dai Yulin, secretary of the Dandong municipal CPC committee, also delivered speeches.

Harman Group is a global supplier of advanced audio and infotainment systems, with products covering car, home and professional audio fields. Currently, there are more than 20 million cars around the world which have adopted Harman's audio and infotainment system.

Harman's Dandong project boasts a total investment of $50 million with an expected annual sales income of $300 million.
