The 21st Spring Real Estate Trade Fair (2012) drew to a close in Dandong, Liaoning province, on April 24. The four-day event attracted more than 60,000 visitors with over 670 commercial properties sold, three times of that in last year's fair.

As many as 46 real estate developers participated in the fair with more than 14,000 commercial houses, covering approximately 1.5 million square meters. The event gathered all developers with projects currently under construction. Properties promoted at the fair included not only high-end houses but mid-range apartments for low-income buyers. Shops suitable for property investment were also sold at the fair. Various kinds of houses differing in size, houses with river views, mountain view houses and houses with thermal springs could also be found.

Exhibitors made unprecedented promotions and gave various discounts this year. As many as 30 real estate developers offered discounts to more than 9,000 commercial properties, which cover about 900,000 square meters in total.

Themed "Improve People's Livelihood and Benefit the Public", the trade fair launched activities including on-site policy consulting services from. professionals in real estate valuation, finance, taxation and housing security. House property, tax and other government agencies also offered one-stop services including house transaction registration, tax payment and maintenance fund deposit.

More than 20 construction materials, decoration and furnishing enterprises took part in the fair, offering around 100 varieties of products.
