Children's drama A Fantastic Encounter with Little Mencius will be staged at the Shandong Provincial Theater from Aug 11 to 12 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.

The drama tells a story about Lin Xiaomeng, a pupil who lives in the 21st century but travels back in time to ancient China's Warring States period (475-221 BC) with the help of a little fairy. There, she witnesses how little Mencius' mother tries to find a good environment for her son's education by moving from one place to another, and finally gets to understand the behaviors of her own parents.

The drama not only presents Lin Xiaomeng's growth, but also shows the necessity of a heart-to-heart communication between parents and their children.
