West Sheshan Park is the forest park local residents tend to visit when spring approaches. The well-known "Far East's First Church" and China's oldest observatory are also located here.

Families attending the event will have a mini orienteering competition, a sporting event in which participants use a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain while moving at speed.
