Pingyao held a forum on traditional Chinese medicine theory and clinical application for the first time, June 14 to 15.
More than 200 clinic application specialists from across the country came to Pingyao for the forum.
Men Jiuzhang from Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gao Jianzhong, from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Zhao Jie, from a hospital affiliated with Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, talked on various topics.
They discussed reading, using and clinical application of classical TCM prescriptions, the clinical application of traditional Chinese decoction and the contributions of Fu Shan, a TCM expert from the Ming Dynasty, to Chinese medicine.
Some medical experts also offered free medical services to patients during the forum.
