Shanxi can supply 851 million tons of coal in 2015, an increase of 57.33 million tons from this year, said an official at the China (Taiyuan) Coal Transaction Center at the Electricity and Coal Trade Fair on Dec 23, during the 2015 Coal Trade Fair and Summit Forum
A survey of 49 coal companies by the center shows that coal that can be supplied to Shanxi's power plants stands at 96.45 million tons, with 65.5 million tons to be transported by road and the rest by railway. A total of 61.38 million tons will be from key state-owned companies, 11.85 million tons from central companies and 23.32 million tons from other companies.
Transactions during the fair can be made on the center's electronic trading platform. Trade agreements can also be signed online.
