Dynamic International Airways made its inaugural direct flight from Shanxi's Taiyuan to Saipan on August 1, marking the first direct air route linking the province with the island.

The flight route is expected to bring 3,000 tourists to the vacation hotspot of Saipan this summer.

Saipan Island is the largest island of the Northern Mariana Islands, a territory of the United States.

Chinese nationals can enjoy a visa-free stay for 45 days in Saipan.

The route will run every five days, with the capacity of carrying 215 passengers.

Dynamic Airways is an American charter airline founded in 2010. It operates many regular flights on behalf of other operators.
