The China (Datong) international automobile cultural festival will be held in Datong, Shanxi province in August.

The event serves as the first strategic corporation project for building a long-term relationship between Datong and the China national Automotive Industry International Corp (CNAICO).

The strategic corporation agreement was signed on April 16 in Datong, with Geng Yanbo, mayor of Datong, and Ji Xuecheng, president of CNAICO taking part. Some activities related to the automobile industries will also be held during the festival, such as an automobile exhibition, automobile cruise, car model contest and automobile industry summit.

Geng addressed the gathering during the signing ceremony. He said the corporation is a good opportunity for Datong to integrate its cultural industries.

Ji introduced the present development of CNAICO and said that Datong, as the famous historical and cultural city, has greatly developed its cultural and creative industries by actively exploiting new modes and attracting cultural and creative enterprises during recent years.

The international automobile exhibition will become a bold attempt for industries because it combines the delicate dynamic between the fashionable exhibition culture of CNAICO and the long history of Datong, he added.
