There is a new air route opening, on Oct 26, so that people in the city of Datong, Shanxi province can have direct access to the city of Haikou, capital of Hainan province, for the first time, without having to make a transfer.

The new Capital Airlines Baotou-Datong-Haikou flight, Airbus A319, goes from the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia to Yungang Airport, in Datong, then to Haikou Airport.

The schedule is as follows: The flight leaves Haikou, once a day, at 9:40 am, arrives at Datong at 1:20 pm, leaves Datong at 1:55, and arrives at Baotou at 2:35. Then it departs Baotou at 3:10, arrives Datong at 3:50, leaves Datong 4:25 and arrives back in Haikou at 8:15.
