The graduation and commencement ceremony of Dadongguan campus, Shanxi University

The graduation and commencement ceremony of Dadongguan campus, Shanxi University was held on July 8, in the stadium of Dadongguan campus. Shi Shuai, Jia Suotang, Xing Long and Yang Jun from leadership of university, heads of management committee and relevant functional department, professors from every school and faculty and all the graduates attended the ceremony. And the ceremony was hosted by vice president of the university, Xing Long.

Headmaster Jia Suotang delivered a lecture named “live with belief” in the beginning of the ceremony. He said that no matter what circumstances one is in, he should have his own belief and try to become rich in his mind. The belief is a sense of existence on what you are doing and a sense of direction on where you are heading, and it is a unity of achieving your personal value and motherland prosperous. After that speech, representative of the teaching staff, Wang Qi address graduates that they should learn to adapt to society, plan life early, always have confidence , and should not complain too much. Graduation means a new stage of life, where you could fulfill your dream if only you work hard, he said.

Representative of the graduates, Zhang Xi from School of Electric and Electrical Engineering, also made an affectionate speech to express their feelings for the university.

To strengthen the communication between graduates and the university, a system of liaisons was established. Headmaster Jia Suotang awarded certificates for the 148 liaison men selected from 2015 graduates.

University party secretary Shi Shuai awarded certificates for the representatives of outstanding graduates, and university leaders and representatives of teachers set right tassel and awarded diplomas for over 1100 graduates.
