In the Yuezhuang village, Tai'an, Shandong sits a rural cultural museum, exhibiting ancient farming relics and outdated articles.

The exhibits range from the pottery and weapons of the Shang (16th century-11th century BC) and Zhou dynasties (11th century-256 BC) to the furniture and ornaments of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.

The museum, transformed from a quadrangle courtyard, was founded by 44-year-old villager Jin Guo.

Collecting antiques was Jin's dream when he was young; money was the only obstacle. However, he obtained wealth by several decades of hard work.

Jin said that every historical relic tells a story and is a miniature presentation of Tai'an.

The museum recently opened to the public for free.
