Chen Yong--Taishan Culture Expert on Photography

Chen Yong is the vice director of Civilization Office of Tai'an City, member of the China Photographers Association and chairman of Tai'an City Photographers Association.

Grown up at the foot of Mount Tai, Chen engaged in photographic cultural studies of Mount Tai for more than 20 years.

For a long time, under the admiration of Mount Tai and responsibility of passing on our culture to the younger generations, he moved back and forth for countless times through peaks and ridges, forests, mountain streams of Mount Tai, using cameras to record cultural landscape, scenery of the four seasons, people and culture, finishing out more than 10,000 photographic images.

More than 300 pieces of his work have been selected for photographic exhibition at the municipal level or above, more than 100 pieces of his work have been published at the national newspapers. Over 1,500 pieces of his photographic works have been displayed in the "China Photo Network", "CCN picture net", "Graphic world" and "Taishan photography net". He has served as editor of "Tai-Fifty Years" album, deputy editor of "2000 World Natural and Cultural Heritage - protection and development of Taishan Mountain".
