“Airbus A320 general assembly line project is an important and typical project of the strategic cooperation between China and Europe.” said Zhao Haishan, Deputy Director of the management committee of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone at the forum.

Until now, the project has been carried out completely according to the program designed two years ago. At present, Airbus Tianjin Company has employed nearly 400 Chinese workers, and eventually the company can obtain the license issued by the European authority for aviation security. During the assemblage of the first few airplanes, the aviation company’s quality inspector and the European inspector examined every bit of work and so far the qualification rate is 100%.

Besides, we will soon establish a specialized aviation training center in Tianjin jointly with Lufthansa German Airlines’ technical training center. The trainees from this training center can obtain the license of international aviation security. At the aviation exhibition to be held in Paris this June, France, the aviation industrial park of Binhai newly developed area, namely “Tianjin aviation city” will sign the comprehensive cooperation agreement with the French Ministry of Aerospace.

“We will also establish comprehensive cooperative relations with the aviation industry association of Hamburg, Germany. In the future, we will establish comprehensive cooperative relations with the aviation society and association of the main European countries such as Spain, U.K.”
