Xiaoyao Valley is the only overwater tourism and ecological tourist area among Wudang Mountain’s scenic spots. To make it more convenient for visitors, a plank path from Yuxu Crag to Qiong Tai was built, forming a tourist loop line. The line reaches from Xiaoyao Valley and Middle Temple in Qiong Tai to the Golden Summit.

From here to the top, passengers pass a brook, cross a suspension bridge, walk the plank path and climb up the stone steps. Going through the Yuxu Valley to the Middle Temple in Qiong Tai, the total distance is about five kilometers. The scenery is beautiful in this unique eco-tourist area. Main spots are Peach Blossom Island, Cuckoo Brook, Macaque Valley, Yuxu Crag, Dragon and Phoenix Crags, Black Water Spring and White Dragon Spring. Visitors can also see bronze statues of Laozi riding on a black ox, Zhang Sanfeng and Xu Xiake.

Next to Sword River Bridge, there are two Wudang kungfu performances held at 10:30 am and 3:30 pm each day.
