Wudang Mountain adjusted cableway ticket prices according to seasons

The Wudang Mountain Scenic Zone adjusted the cableway ticket price according to seasons. The new cableway ticket price in busy seasons is 10 yuan (1.59 US dollar) higher than the price at present.

The Bureau of Commodity Price in Hubei province gave an official response to the cableway ticket price adjustment on January 6. In busy seasons, the single ticket price of an uplink cableway is 90 yuan and coming down is 80 yuan. In slack seasons, the single ticket price of uplink cableway is 70 yuan, and coming down is 60 yuan. The slack seasons last for three months (November 1 to January 31 each year).

The present ticket price of uplink cableway is 80 yuan, and coming down is 70 yuan. According to the provincial Bureau of Commodity Price, the new ticket price adjustment will be implemented for five years starting from Feb 15, 2012.
