Wudang Mountain gathers its culture

The Wudang Taichi Cultural Square is epitome of Wudang culture. Hundreds and thousands of people gather to the square every day to participate in Taichi, yangko dance, Wudang folk songs and watch TV on the big screen.

In recent years, Wudang has built many cultural facilities with total investments of more than 1 billion yuan. This includes the Taichi Cultural Square, Wudang Museum, Wudang Grand Theatre, Wudang Martial Arts International Exchange Center, Taichi Theatre, Wudang Museum of Art and Wudang Martial Art Academy.

In order to build Wudang Mountain into a cultural area, it also supports the Wudang Martial Arts Group, Wudang Arts Troupe, Taoist Martial Arts Group, Taihe Martial Arts Group, Taoist Orchestra, Xiyanghong Arts Troupe, and Cableway Taoist Orchestra. The cultural displays in Wudang have attracted more visitors and the annual tourist volume is up to more than 3.5 million people.
