Wudang sets new tourist record

The Wudang Mountains service center was crowded with pilgrims on the morning of March 13. By 7:00 am, over 3,800 tour groups had arrived in the scenic zone safe and sound.
The triumphant "blitzkrieg" was made through cooperation between the Wudang ticket office and Wudang tour bus fleet. The former speed record for welcoming visitors was 2,000 people/hour. Today, the speed reached 2,800 people/hour, up 40 percent from before.
The service of the Wudang Mountains has been improving since last May thanks to the unified management of the ticket office and the tour bus fleet. The management has successfully handled heavy tourism seasons, namely the National Day holiday and Spring Festival holiday, and was well received and highly commended by people from all walks of life.
