Wang Minzheng, a member of Kunming's Municipal Standing Committee and director of the Management Committee of Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone led a team to visit Shenzhen, with an agenda to seek investment from the leading companies based here.

During the two–day visit, Wang talked with leaders of Fortune 500 companies, listed companies, financial institutions and Shenzhen's Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Committee.

During the talks with Hu Zheng, vice president of China Merchants Group and chairman of China Merchants Logistics, the two sides reached consensus on project commencement, construction progress, and the service for major logistics customers. = During the talks with Nanshan Group, Wang conducted in-depth negotiations with General Manager Tian Junyan. Both sides agreed to jointly build the Kunming International Joy City project and make it a national leading construction. Wang also held in-depth talks with Zhu Jianping, deputy director of Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Committee, regarding technology and communication.

Wang also visited well-known enterprises in the bio-pharmaceutical, financial, and non-ferrous metals field.
