Two technologies developed by the company in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone were awarded the "best innovative achievements" at the 8th China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Conference held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.

The awarded technologies were "technique and equipment for flue-gas desulfurization and denitrification" and "new technology for desulfurization and dust removal of flue gas produced by calcined petroleum coke", which were both developed by the Yunnan Asia-Pacific Environmental Engineering Design and Research Co, a leading environmental protection engineering company in Yunnan.

The China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Conference this year was held under the theme of "innovation drives development". Scholars gathered in Shenzhen and discussed innovative development in China and selected excellent projects and technologies to acknowledge their outstanding contributions.
