Touching memories of mom

My mom is a traditional woman, and I always thought that she couldn’t understand me. So I hardly ever shared my secrets with her – right until I left for college. Then, as my mother and I no longer lived in the same home, I started to only remember my mom’s good side, and we started to communicate more often. I gradually realized that my mother was a woman who had ambitions in her life and liked to learn new things. After I started college, my mother started her career. She now runs a shop and – due to her enthusiasm and good service - business is good, and many people are loyal customers. I soon understood that the reason why my mother decided to start her career then was because she wanted to be with me when I was studying to get into college.

Now, my life is entirely my own. Once, I made a mistake and I expected that my mom would criticize me, but she sent me a message saying: “Baby, for a long time, you have never let your mother worry, what happened today was an accident, you don't need to worry about it, I always believe in you. No matter what you decide, I will support you, and in my heart, you'll always be the best! Go to bed early at night.’

When I read this message, I was deeply moved. I had never heard such emotional words from my mom.

I feel warmth and I am overwhelmed by my love for my mother.
