6. Service in Department Stores - Service in department stores has come a long way in the 21 and a half years since I first came here. Nowadays, the clerks seem to be more sensitive to the needs of foreigners and they go out of their way to be helpful. Before, I think it was more difficult because of the language barriers, perhaps.
