I think people take selfies and put them on the Internet because they see others doing it. They want to fit in with them so they do it too. People also like the comments they get on them. People call others pretty, beautiful, and gorgeous. I agree that selfies can sometimes be a visual diary. I agree because people can take pictures of themselves and you can tell if they are happy or sad. It is like writing in a diary about your day, but instead you are taking pictures of yourself.
