Most Singaporean couples would prefer cash (it's a perfectly acceptable gift over here). Just put the cash in the red packet, and write your name on the back of it. Most people will make a list of who-gives-how-much, and use it as a reference for returning favors for future weddings. Always give the cash in even figures, never odd figures. A greeting card is not necessary, though it's a nice gesture.
